- Bisolvon®, 8 mg/5 ml, syrup, 250 mL bottle: price 9.90 euros.
To purchase all the pharmaceutical forms of Bisolvon® it is not necessary to have a medical prescription except for the vials which instead need a repeatable medical prescription.
How does it work?
Bisolvon® is a medicine that belongs to the category of mucolytics which have the purpose of thinning the mucus by reducing the typical symptoms of wet cough. Posology and Method of Use
The methods and quantities of intake recommended for Bisolvon® are as follows.
Bisolvon® tablets in adults and adolescents over 12 years: 2 tablets 3 times a day. In children aged 6 to 12 the dose is: 1 tablet 3 times a day. In children aged 2 to 6 years: we recommend ½ tablet 2 times a day.
Bisolvon® soluble tablets the dosage is as follows. In adults and adolescents over 12 years it is: 1 tablet 3 times a day. The tablets dissolve quickly and the solution should be mixed and drunk immediately.
For Bisolvon® oral solution in drops , the dosage is as follows: in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age 8 mL of drug three times a day. In children aged 6 to 12 years 2-4 mL three times a day. In children from 2 to 6 years of age 20-40 drops three times a day.
Bisolvon® solution for injection one vial to be injected intramuscularly or slowly intravenously 2 or 3 times a day.
Bisolvon® 250 mL bottle in adults: 5-10 mL three times a day. In children older than 2 years: 2.5/5 ml three times a day. It is recommended to take the drug after meals. The dose can be measured with the special measuring cup supplied.
For patients suffering from renal insufficiency and for patients suffering from hepatic insufficiency the dose should be advised by the doctor. There are no particular indications, but it is still good practice to consult your doctor.
Overdose
At the moment there have not been sufficient studies on the overdose of the drug Bisolvon® .
