Ensure Plus advance® contiene:

• HMB is a derivative of the amino acid leucine and is used by athletes to improve performance and increase muscle mass. HMB helps preserve and/or rebuild muscles by increasing muscle strength and function. HMB helps restabilize muscle fibers and make them more resistant to exertion, improves the body’s ability to synthesize proteins, and helps minimize muscle protein loss;
• proteins that allow you to build and maintain healthy muscles. Suitable for older people who very often do not get enough protein in their diet;
• the NutriVigor complex is specially designed for people over 60 to reach the recommended daily dose (0.8 grams) of protein per kg of weight. It also helps preserve muscle mass;
• vitamin D maintains natural muscle function and improves calcium absorption to increase strength and bone health;
• calcium which helps the health of the skeletal system and reduces the risk of fractures;
• 24 antioxidant and strengthening vitamins and minerals for natural immune system health.

Why is it important to take the supplement?

Dosage: how to take the supplement?

To take these products it is recommended to follow the dosage below.

Ensure Plus®:  The product is ready to use. It is advisable to shake the preparation well before use. It should be served fresh or at room temperature. It should not be boiled, but can also be served hot. The amount of product to be taken during the day must be established by the doctor.

Ensure Plus Advance®: the product is ready to use. It is recommended to shake before use. It is recommended to take 2 bottles of product a day from breakfast.

Warnings and contraindications

In patients taking some medicines, there may be a risk of a drug interaction, therefore it is advisable to consult a doctor before taking the product.

It is advisable not to add doses of the product without first consulting your doctor, pharmacist or dietician. Furthermore, since this product contains moderate amounts of sugar, it is advisable to have good oral hygiene to avoid the appearance of tooth decay.

If the product is not used after 24 hours from opening, it must be thrown away as a good part of the constituents has been altered.

Do not use the product after the expiry date  stated on the package. The expiry date refers to a supplement correctly stored and placed in the original packaging. Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

It is advisable to keep the product in the original packaging  and away from light sources and/or direct heat sources as they could alter the quality of the product. Do not use the product if the packaging appears to have been tampered with and/or if it appears damaged or if the appearance of the product appears to have changed from the original.

Ensure Plus® is a product with a high caloric density which serves to provide the body, in a state of malnutrition, with all the nutrients it needs. Therefore, if taken by people who do not have nutrient intake problems it is absolutely possible that it causes weight gain as it adds a good amount of calories that are not needed by the body. The excess intake of daily calories that are not used to carry out the body’s functions results in weight gain and accumulation of body fat.
